OK, I first heard of this movie, at a Wolf website. They said a new animated movie was coming out and it has, A LOT OF WOLVES IN IT. me being the, "WOLF LOVER" I HAD to check it out. I bought it at wal-mart for 10$ then I watched it. I stopped it 38 minutes in. I'm sorry, I just wasn't getting into it. Then, Like 4 months later, I watch it again. After seeing it a second time I liked (and appreciated) It a LOT more. so now, Here's my Negatives and Postitives. Negatives: Lots of Cliché moments. The other characters, the goose, and the duck, (and any animal, besides the wolves) Were Unnecessary to the plot.  Positives: The wolves look fantastic. Animation is Good, Sound track is lively and nice.  Overall: The movie is Good. Just try to not groan at the ending, or the "Moonlight Howl" Part. 8/10.

"Alpha and Omega" is a slap stick type of comedy and hilarious to watch for younger families. My children, two boys ages 10 and 7 and my little girl who is 3, all love this movie. Older audiences can see the parallels to a "Romeo and Juliet" type of story, younger audiences just enjoy the comedy. My little girl gets into this movie very much, she urges the animals to run when in danger and is happy and laughing when good things happen. If you like movies like Lion King, Gnomeo & Juliet, and Rio then you will like this movie. I also like the fact that I don't visualize Hayden Panattiere every time I watch the movie. Often with movies I visualize the person whose voice I hear like Ashton Kutcher in Open Season.

Saw this lovely animation movie with family during my vacations. Had not heard much about it as there was not much TV promotions and publicity before the release, but was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of animation, character building, the story and many other aspects. For my family it turned out to be a perfect vacation movie. The soundtrack of the movie is also worth mentioning here. Referring to another review here criticizing the movie for beyond understandable reasons, I believe movies are made for having fun, and criticizing them for stupid reasons like this movie was inspired by whatever is nonsense, because at the end of the day most of the animation movies including by all top studios follow the fun, family, adventure, thrills, some moral/ethics at the end of the story themes and this one's no exception. We enjoyed it throughly until it lasted plan to buy the Blu Ray disc for the kids as they loved it as much.
