Nice one.... Good Job!

The Ayithey team has done it again. Nice plot, sane direction and good music, all rare in Thelugu movies, make this movie a must-see for a Tollywood fan. Jagapathi Babu, Charmie and the Ayithey guy have done a good job in front of the camera while the director and his team did an equally laudable job behind. KeeravaNi came up some fresh music that works in tandem with the story. A starking feature of this team's movies seems to be the earthly manner of portraying characters. Also the dialogues are so colloquial that a normal person can very well feel the intensity and tone. Some scenes like the Jagapathi Babu's jostling scene near the end were captured with a very real touch, like in a documentary. Dealing with issues of drugs and bigotry, the movie stands apart from typical run of the mill Thelugu movies that don't qualify even to appear on websites like IMDb. Go watch it IN A THEATRE... please encourage at least the good film makers!

A Perfect and Flawless SuspenseThriller

It is a wonderful thriller movie I had ever seen in this whole earth. Such a perfect script. Though the First half seems to be moving a bit slow, the mystery starts unfolding in the second half justifying and answering every single question left earlier in the beginning. The screenplay is awesome. A struggling singer(Charmy) stays with her father and step-mother in Hyderabad. Amidst the inimical treatment from her step-mother, she leads a normal and modest life of studying and singing in chorus for part-time. She wants to get a break as a full-time singer. All goes well until one day she finds a strange conversation involving voices of two strangers and hers, recorded in her tape-recorder(which he always carries in her hand-bag). She is taken aback with this and later finds that one whole day had passed without her notice. The plot gets interesting with a series of puzzling events haunting her. She even finds a group of people trying to kill her. The story takes a twist with the cop(Jagapathi babu) and a taxi driver(Sasank) joining her to investigate "the missing day". Its a must-see movie!!! Anyday, Anywhere I will give a 10 to this movie!! ChandraSekhar Yeleti did it again after Aithey!! Kudos to him!!

I feel like hugging the director...and the writers...and the actors...and the music composer...and the camera men...

Summary: Anukokunda Oka Roju ("One Day, Without my Knowledge...") is a Telugu film directed by Chandra Shekar Yeleti. The plot centers around a young woman named Sahasra. She attends a party with some friends and wakes up later in her own house, not remembering what happened that night. A series of mysterious events prompts her to enlist the help of a police officer to figure out what went on between the time of the party and the time she woke up. Review: One of the saving graces of Telugu cinema, the main attraction of this film is the plot. In these days of heroes, star power, and mass films, this movie brings something very rare: a realistic main character. You also have to give it props for not focusing totally on romance with a female lead, like many other heroine-oriented films tend to do. While being innovative (for a Telugu film), the movie also does its job: keep the audience entertained. I was treated to some two hours of suspense, comedy, quirky characters, a little action here and there, and (of course) song-and-dance numbers. The best of masala film. The acting is done surprisingly well. Where many directors would have gone for melodramatic über-acting, Yeleti uses much more subtle, realistic dialogue. Except for a couple of scenes where Charmy goes overboard. Otherwise, wonderful. In conclusion: Watch It. Go to the theater right now, I DARE you to not like it.
