A separated couple who's children try desperately to get them back together. The wife turns out to be an insensitive and selfish woman who's willing to sacrifice her marriage and relationship with her children over her desire to chase her dreams in the business world. She repeatedly resists the attempts by her kids and husband to reconcile while being seemingly oblivious to the attempts by her boss to win her affection. There is nothing "Christmas" about this movie other than it happens to be that time of year. The script is uneven and the acting is so-so. I don't blame the actors at all since they seemed to do the best they could with what they had to work with. For uplifting entertainment, it fell way short. Except for a few humorous scenes, it felt more like a drama. The ending was obviously hurried and left me wondering what had just happened and why. I rated it low because of the poor script and it failed to meet the expectations advertised.

A couple of meddling kids try to get their parents to fix their marriage over the Christmas in Palm Springs while handling some work projects. Dina Meyer is pretty as always and she is paired with her Starship Troopers costar Patrick Muldoon. They are likeable together. The story isn't that interesting and the kids are a little annoying. As far as these holiday movies go it's an average story with a nice cast.
