Right, well the staggering low rating here on IMDb should have been a clear and present warning as to why I shouldn't sit down to watch the 2018 zombie anthology titled "Death World". But hey, it was a zombie movie, so of course I had to sit down and watch it; anything even remotely zombiesque, and I have an interest. But "Death World" was bad, so horribly, horribly bad. Not only were the individual segments of stories in the anthology boring, bland and laughable, but the dialogue was just downright atrocious. Which leads me to the dubious acting performances; sure, this was a low budget project, but it seemed like they weren't even trying. A zombie movie needs to have proper special effects. And not even that did they manage in "Death World". The zombie make-up was really, really bad. Most of the times, it was just layers of body paint slapped upon someone's skin. And you just got to love zombies that blink their eyes. Do yourself a favor and stay well clear of "Death World". Because it is as bad as you think it is, even worse actually. My rating of "Death World" is a generous one out of ten stars. "Death World" is literally in the top 5 of worst zombie movies I have stumbled upon in my life-long affection of all things zombie.
"Death World" is a zombie anthology film of 3 stories. "The Fittest" is about college students surviving, "Lifeline" takes place in a zip-lane park, and "Reflex Action" is about a security guard driving a VIP to her concert.
