Going into the movie knowing it had a substantially low budget, I wasn't expecting much. I was quite surprised to find that the acting was pretty good (VERY good in some cases) and the production quality matched films with a much higher budget. The overarching storyline is a battle of morals as an upstanding agent is pared off with another with a dark background. Many other facets are present as well, ranging from a very relevant drug crisis to poverty and immigration issues through the eyes of a naturalized Mexican American Border Patrol agent who, at times, finds himself not belonging on either side of the border. I found the film was able to keep my attention well and not a bad way to spend a few hours.
