If you want to see a biography like picture then find another. If you want to see an entertaining yakuza movie with a lot of sword fighting and some comic reliefs then this may be a good choice for you. The movie and story does not take itself too serious. To be honest I do not know if this character ever lived but if he did then he can at least be happy he have entertained some people in afterlife. The movie is a bit silly at times but for me in a nice way. Unfortunately the copy I saw was quite bad so I cannot say too much about the camera work but acting seemed quite fine here. Plot is moving along at a good pace so you should not get bored.
