I could have enjoyed it more if the adult daughter, Emily acted like an adult instead of a scared teenager when it came to her mother bossing her around.

Yes, they made some stupid choices but that's many Movies. I think if you have been abused yourself you will understand the older daughter better. I was "afraid" of setting off my mother until she passed away at 75. Well into my adult hood. I definitely found most of the actions far fetched but still enjoyed it. However, I found the mom a little goofy. Especially how they tried to age her with that gray streak. She looked like she could be their sister. And acted like a wacko. But it's based on a true story so you never know. Maybe she was that nuts. All in all it was entertaining.

Storyline had potential. As usual, they flubbed it.
