Not into the music, so let's discuss the chicks which is the reason to watch any movie: The main girl (Hirose) is just not hot or pretty. She must be downright ugly if she does not excite in a mini and thigh highs. Akane is OK (thin for the win) and 6/10 The hottie is the bassist. Great hair, slim waist and very cute. The young-ish chick on the BoD is also a babe. 6/10 movie. Barely any skin.

The effects are bad and none of the story or 'science' is explained. Unfortunately, we see no legs even though the girl is thin and probably is free of cellulite. Why not be attractive? I mean she is supposed to be a metaller, but she has masculine short hair.

I saw this movie almost by accident: The tickets of the movie I wanted to see were sold out, and was able to obtain tickets for this one in the last minute. Don't believe the critics. It did not disappoint! This movie is full of smart humour, entertaining and very touching. Don't forget to stay for the end credits. There is a bonus scene.
