And the Academy Award for...

...the most fake reviews goes to: Rise of the Footsoldier: Marbella Why does either the writer or director suck in every installment of this series (except for the first film)? Rise of the Footsoldier 3 had decent directing and terrible writing from an amateur writer. This time around the writing was ok, but why have an amateur director (this is Andrew Loveday's first film) put this movie together? I also blame the editors; in the first 2 minutes of the movie, we are shown three different countries/cities... for what reason? That should've been edited out. Too many convoluted choppy scenes made this film hard to follow. I'm a fan of Craig Fairbrass and really liked him in London Heist, of which was way better written (by Fairbrass) than this hot mess. He should insist that either he directs or writes (or at least proofread) the screenplay, or the money they pay for fake reviews be applied to more experienced filmmakers. Sadly, another disappointing installment and only a generous 5/10 from me, all going to the usual hilarious and entertaining cast.

heavy duty for the essex boys, though the first is the best

There is a hersay about the brits that they are..........! and this film really shows the cruel side of it. its as you may expect, coke, lots of f-words, and c-words, a whole lot of beating stabbing and shooting, stealing ,cheating and messing around. and in marbella, there are of course no policia/bobbies or bills around, not even a siren, just nice big houses with big bath tubs and of course some british crooks. i think that even a nitwit can understand that this cant be a reflection of true events. but there are some funny sideshow of bipolar origin that goes tandem with the bad attitude, and if it hadnt been for these moments i would have walked out of the aula. its the rise of the footsoldier, the grumpy old man understands that, but the mix of gaelic and keltish rumblethumb like king rollo on a high are just good enough for a five.a dig for the blood and gore fan...

The FALL of the Essex boys

I only really wanted to watch this as I wanted to see Conor Benn portraying his dad. I mean hey I even rented the movie and didn't stream it. It wasn't the worse movie I just know that if it does half well they will keep making more.. I'm sure they can't have done THAT much after the murders? Terry Stones character is getting silly now. I don't understand how at the end of the film they go through the effort of getting an old police car for the scene outside the club for whatever year it was meant to be, but the scene in Amsterdam they were just completely lazy and didn't care about their surroundings. Scenes in Marbella shot very well I must say but I think the story needs to end now!
