I didn't really know what to expect when I sat down to watch this movie. I was lured in because it was a horror movie, and that is essentially all needed to get my attention. Having seen the movie, I will say that it is not a bad movie. It was, however, very generic, and offers nothing that hasn't already been seen in other horror movies. So that was a bit disappointing. But still, as I just said, the movie is watchable and entertaining enough for what it was. While the movie's story was generic, there still was something interesting and intense to the atmosphere of the movie, and writer and director Scott Jeffrey actually managed to do something good there, because it definitely added a good layer to the movie. The acting in the movie was good, and I do enjoy watching movies with new faces on the cast list. And not being overly familiar with the people whom acted in this movie was a good thing. The creature in the movie was interesting in concept, but ultimately ended up resembling a poor man's replica of the iconic xenomorph from the "Alien" franchise. Intentional? Accidental? I have no idea, but it didn't work in favor of the movie. Especially not for my taste and liking. All in all, while the movie is watchable and have a sense of 1980s horror movie to it, it wasn't an outstanding movie. I am rating it a four out of ten stars.
