Great movie if you're 8 yrs old

We're a long way from Endgame, and it shows. They're trying to reboot the franchise...geared towards 8-12 year olds. If you're in your 30's like me and are a loyal fan of the marvel movies that have been coming out since 2008's Iron Man, then prepare to be disappointed.

This film sets a new low standard for superhero movies

I'm a fan of Marvel characters in general, and I like the MCU and X-Men cinematic storylines. I'm able to enjoy even the poorly-executed parts of both of them. But this is a far worse case. Until now, most of DC films were the definitive low standard in superhero movies. Spider-Man: Far from Home has now taken this place. I watched the whole film with a sense of disbelief to myself. I couldn't believe that the film was as bad as I was perceiving it. But then, it ended. And I realized that yes, it wasn't me. I didn't lose something. The film was abysmally bad. In every aspect. The lack of scenario is striking. There's a constant flip between three different sets of characters, that have little to no connection to each other and one of them (Parker's classmates) exists for no reason whatsoever in the film. They are inconsequential. Instead of serving the purpose of a social background, this bunch of bad American comedy stereotypical "characters" are constantly thrown to the screen for no reason. This not an exaggeration. For no reason at all. The rest of the storytelling is not as annoying but it's unbelievably flat. There's not a singe strong moment throughout the film. There's no reason to comment on acting, simply because there isn't any. The overall impression is that some very bored people were forced to execute the dull task of filling a production quota. This review does not contain any spoilers, simply because it's impossible to make one.

Disappointing

After reading all to 10/10 reviews I was really surprised how bad this film was, following on from the events after endgame. Shockingly most of peter class were in the so called blip. But for me the story was bad and seemed more childish than the original. The nick fury bit was a joke and if youve seen the ending you'll understand. The bad guy no comment felt a little like iron man 3 there all an act. Think the best thing would have been to stop making these after endgame and call it a day
