You won't hear any actual Bowie music in this film as it was made against the wishes of Bowie's family and estate. Is it right for someone to tell a person's story without permission? I don't think so and many other fans agree

4 for trying, but why was this greenlit without support from the family and there's simply one major issue (apart from the music) and that is the likeness of the main actor, there is absolutely NO likeness - so that unfortunately, is where the film fails badly. They really should of chosen an actor that could BE Bowie, looks like him, sound like him, sings his hits. I would say. I am not hating on the movie, but watching a trailer and a film of a beloved ICON, so be just that and not a distraction.

Can't think why Duncan didn't give permission for the music.
