Didn't laugh once.

I like to think I have a good sense of humour and can take something from any genre but this was just dull and boring to the point where I literally wanted to slap some of the characters. We basically spend a day in the life of the most boring man on the planet who is then out bored by friends, friends of friends and random encounters. The problem with writing, directing and staring in a production like this is that if you don't allow other peoples input or criticism then it's all on you and sadly Andre Hyland, it's all on you. I gave it 2 stars as the gummy bear scene was mildly amusing but the rest was like spending a day with a distant cousin who you just met and had nothing in common with.

Very Funny

If you're not from Southern California, you might not get it entirely. But I lived there a long time, and I thought this movie was very entertaining. It really, in a comedy way, showed the difference between normal human responses to things and "California" responses to things. Personally, I'd watch it again just to make sure I got all the subtle humor. I liked it. :)

Film about nothing.

This film is in the same vein as Curb Your Enthusiasm. A simple journey to a store to buy lighter fluid escalates with small hiccups that just get worse and worse. It's small frustrations and annoyances rather than an epic plot. An annoying Uber Driver, a store clerk enforcing the restroom for customers only policy. You do feel sorry for the guy but he is just so indifferent to all the things that happens. I liked this film. It's gentle and doesn't have complex plot. It's not the best film ever made but better than a lot of offerings in cinema. It's a reasonable indie film
