Don't watch it without seeing the TV show first.

I see all these negative reviews from people and then they end with "I haven't seen the TV show though". That made me want to write this review so I could maybe clear something up. I, who was a huge fan of the TV show, can understand why this movie sucks if you don't know the characters. I think it's safe to say that this is nothing more than a reunion. It's something fans should watch if they want to see what has happened to all their favourite characters from the show. I've also seen many reviews saying "where was the humour?" and that is something I can understand as well. Almost every joke in this movie, is a joke about something that has happened in the TV show. I can't stress this enough: It's a great movie for fans of the TV show and it's better than most reunions, BUT it doesn't have a great story of it's own apart from the TV show, which makes it a slightly boring and confusing movie for people who don't already know the characters. 7/10. -Imme van Gorp

It's Never as Good as the First Time

Excuse the use of the Sade song title, but it really sums up my feelings about this film. I wanted to like it, I really did. I liked the TV show, and even contributed to the Kickstarter campaign. I'm not sure what I expected, but what we got was basically a 2 hour TV reunion show (2 hours if you had commercials, the film is only 105 minutes). In 10 years, the residents of Jupiter have gotten older, but not smarter or wiser. And, sadly, even though all of the actors expressed great enthusiasm for the project, they all seem a little tired. They're happy for the pay checks, but in the end, they are rehashing the same characters, with the same emotions and the same actions as 10 years ago. Kristen Bell always brought that world-weary sense of cynicism to Veronica Mars, even when she was playing a high school detective. Now she just seems weary. I would much rather watch her in 'House of Lies', where that more grown up cynicism shines. Bottom line is we should all have just moved on, and let our memories of the TV show remain intact. This was not an elegant ending of a good show, but a sad reminder of what we once liked and enjoyed.

Laughable liberal drivel

"When the class war starts, it will start here in Neptune"??? Really? I see Veronica Mars is still the same liberal moronic drivel that it always was. Rich/white men are basically scumbags and cops are corrupt, racist idiots. You know how the rest goes. Get a job Kirsten Bell, a real one that you actually have talent for. That goes for the rest of the cast as well.
